"A prince strips a posing group of prostitutes naked one by one as he selects a companion for the night."

If they had bothered to watch the episode, the Prince wasn't selecting a female companion for himself. He was having them undress for his FEMALE companion. The Prince wanted the male for the companion for the night.

Since I don’t get HBO, I only got to see bits of this series - like the Red Wedding scene.

There’s only a few series I watch - “The Walking Dead”, “Top Shot”, and “Breaking Bad” when it was on.

This new series on AMC “Turn” looks really good. First episode was well done.

Yep, that’s true.

Still, this scene was added and of no relation to the characters in the book, which I do not care for.

They are injecting sexuality into it, and perverse sexuality at that. In effect, they are corrupting it, and that pisses me off.

However, I still intend to watch it, because I love the story and the characters, at least the once they haven’t pooped on like they did with Oberyn and Ellaria.

In the books, sex and sexuality was much, much more understated and handled in a mature way.

The same cannot be said for the series.

I believe the story is more than strong enough to stand on its own without this debauchery.
