"A Connecticut community college suspended a student veteran for his aggressive questioning of Democratic Gov. Dannel Malloy during a public forum,....
Shortly thereafter, Saucier received notice from the administration that he was suspended on grounds that his continued presence on campus would present a danger to the persons, property and/or academic process of the College....
The college attempted to persuade Saucier to plead guilty to the charges and undergo counseling. He refused, opting instead for a formal hearing. At the hearing, administrators refused to let him play his recorded video, which he argued would acquit him by showing that he did nothing wrong. Saucier was found guilty of all charges. His suspension was lifted, but any further trouble from him and he will be expelled, administrators said..... The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education has accused ACC of violating Sauciers free speech and due process rights by disciplining him for speaking his mind and subjecting him to a sham trial....
ACCs myriad violations of Nicholas Sauciers rights, effective rewriting of its conduct procedures, and failure to rectify its errors should give all Americans great concern, said Peter Bonilla, director of FIREs Individual Rights Defense Program, in a statement. [H/T instapundit]

Followed the governor to his car afterwards? He’s an idiot.
Evidence? We already have the verdict and sentencing before the trial. Why do we need this evidence to slow things down?
Sorry, but I must disagree. This community college is in Connecticut. Not exactly a bastion of freedom.
/Sarcasm/
“Aggressively questioning” a Republican on the other hand would have made him a hero with the school’s administrators.
Comrade, you are talking about the old days. In the glorious NEW REPUBLIC, so called "free thinking" individuals will be put in their place. They will be re-educated. Their thinking will be realigned so that there is no dissent.
If you read the article, he followed that guy out to his car after the event and called him a snake. He didn’t just ask questions at the event. Sounds like the kind of harassment that lefties are allowed to do, but that doesn’t make it right or smart.
sue them. seek damages.
Trial. Guilty. But curiously, no penalty. The lack of a penalty eliminates harm, thus no threat of an appeal or civil suit. However, the person is sufficiently frightened by the process. Now the person is conditioned to accept the lesson from the education camp.
Lawyer up.
WTF!?!?!?
The Department of Thought Control Commissars is working overtime.

That is so obvious as not to need to be in print.
Thats my only reason anymore, and I am currently doing interviews with companies in other (less rabid blue) states, i.e. the Carolinas.
