Please pray for my leg

Bad infection in my right leg. Went to the local VA Clinic a week ago and the physician insisted that I be rushed to the local emergency room to check for a blood clot. Hours later - no blood clot found, so ER doctor prescribed two antibiotics. Have been on them for a week now and while they've tamped the infection down, they aren't defeating it. So I've pleaded with the VA Clinic to please give me the antibiotics that have successfully fought it in the past. I'm still waiting to hear back. Meanwhile, lots of pain.

Just about every doctor I’ve met thinks the rest of us are as stupid as a box of rocks. Heck, I met this guy when he was a college freshman and he had “the attitude” about us civilians.

I had that, and so did a couple of my friends. It can take some time for the antibiotics to completely knock it out. Hang in there.

Praying the doctors treat this with the proper level of seriousness, and get you some effective medication. They’re so busy panicking about drug-resistant strains developing at-large they’re forgetting some infections need strong medicine now. You have to keep on their backs.
It’s like they’re not treating just you anymore, but the whole world at once. It’s not a welcome development.

I had a bout of Cellulitis on Parris Island. Antibiotics and bedrest. Wasn't fun.
