FULL TITLE: Spot the predator: Would YOU be able to tell if a snow leopard was stalking you? Try to find the animal in these photographs
These rare photographs of wild snow leopards reveal just why the elusive animal is so hard to spot.
Pictured strolling across the face of a mountain, the endangered big cat is barely visible against a background of rock and shale.
Experienced wildlife photographer David Jenkins, 41, braved temperatures of over minus 20 degrees centigrade in an effort to get a glimpse of the creature.

But after two weeks enduring the harsh climates of the Indian Himalayas, David finally got a break in the form of a boy from a local village who had noticed blood on the coats of nearby sheep, a sign of snow leopard activity.

Actually, this was a rather fun exercise. Difficult to spot. Snow Leopards are well designed.

You’re welcome! I couldn’t resist. :)

I am red / green color blind. I see color but differently.
One of the unusual characteristics of such color blindness though is that we can spot aminals in their natural camo pretty easily. I had no problem finding the cat(s) in every picture. They were even obvious.
If there are tree rats around I usually win the Saturday squirrel hunt pot at the local store.
When it comes to the numbers in those dot tests though, I can’t see many of them. Makes me wonder who and how they came up with that test.
It is an interesting exercise.
