In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

Good Morning Class. Welcome to School!
Here is my example with WFTD.
Rapacious Russian killers are afoot in Kiev.
No pushing at the door please!
Snowed yesterday, but highs in the mid to upper 60s are forecast for this week.
My “hip hop” name is
“Rap-pacious B”
That’s a perfect name for you!! A+++
Obama’s becoming rapacious
Not like Clinton; Oh my, goodness gracious!
Barry’s not chasing tail
But his huge epic fail
Is fallacious, though hardly fellatious
perfect, with a little filth thrown in ; ) A++++
Our rapacious CEO, while fulfilling his own needs, left most other departments to run on no more than duck tape and bubble gum.
We had an egg hatch overnight. So, one of our bantam chickens is a mother now. The other egg will hopefully hatch soon.
The eagles in Pittsburgh have had 2 of 3 hatch. Remember the one who fought off the raccoon?
I had totally counted on three; figuring the rule only applied to chickens
“Our rapacious federal government, not satisfied with its spoils, greedily demands more plunder this April 15.”
I have been rapacious about my brownie points at church (jk) until Saturday night when it all blew apart. A whole year of RCIA, I have started helping out as Eucharistic minister....then I went to a party. Pig roast - delicious. They raised the pig themselves and roasted it. It was a 50th wedding anniversary party for one of my drivers. My fav dem one. His wife was roasting him, when she pulled out a pair of bright green speedo underwear and announced that “tioga” had given them to her husband....everyone’s head turned to me as she pointed to me. Yep. Fr. Brian, too. I told her she blew a whole year of good behavior for me.
Don’t count the 3rd out yet.
It was obviously understood as a joke, right?
Good morning - snow this late in the year is just crazy! We have a forecast of some big rain even headed this way this coming weekend....I wonder what it will do when it hits the East Coast? More snow or you?
It was 34 this morning when I let the rapacious chickens out to ravage the leftovers from the spouse’s dinner last night. I think Penelope was eyeing them from inside their run since sunup. They LOVE leftover lettuce and tomatoes.
I hope, as it was a joke.
We have an officer down across the street from a local hospital. I am hearing he did not make it. Now they have the bomb squad on scene. Scary things unfolding.
