I increasingly see workers who do not work and managers who do not manage. This worker Joe, as far as I can see, did the right thing. The manager is just irresponsible. And there is a lot of that. I know people who have been promoted and just blatantly said, "Now I don't have to do anything. I just tell other people to do stuff."

It doesn't work that way. It has never worked that way.

But a lot of leaders don't have a clue what leadership means (Obama is a grade A example of this). And a lot of workers do think that they are owed a paycheck and don't really need to make much of an effort.

Our society has become very broken.
