I’m not sure exactly what you mean by your last really, but I suspect this wasn’t the first time the manager slept in and the employee, who may have other responsibilities, was just fed up with it.

The tardy manager also said she was surprised that “Joe” left the note on the door instead of calling her before leaving the store.

The manager said Joe was in the wrong. She says he should've called her. It was her responsibility to call in (as he wrote in his note).
