He could’ve suffered of carpal tunnel syndrome, a very painful nerve illness.
Here in Houston we have a “Hand Center” where they surgically treat this disease. It is a relatively simple type of surgery. Takes approximately one hour and patient goes home after surgery.
Impossible! In socialist paradise medical care is best in world! Ask comrade Michael Moore!
I might just pay Houston a visit. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome pain is indeed very painful and temporarily debilitating.
Sometimes impossible to hold a glass of water, or sleep.
Got it in both hands, both arms and both shoulders/collar bone areas. Makes sleep almost impossible most nights unless I have a strong painkiller.
Can’t even thrown a snowball more than 50 feet. Used to be able to throw it 100 feet or more and very accurately.
Glad I don’t live in England. They would have given me A kidney pie and two aspirins to cure it, and told me to come back in two years.
I really feel sorry for this man. My mother was a chronic pain patient for at least the last 10 years of her life. Only the Leukemia pain was worse, but at least it didn’t last too long.
Pain is real. It is just that some doctors refuse to listen to the patient. I’ve had two great doctors in my family, so I know how a good doctor functions. They “listen”.
It sounds more like something called “Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy,” or RSD. The diagnosis goes back to the civil war days. I don’t know if they know about it in England, However.
Google RSD, there is alot to read out there.
