Gardening is going to be problematic once it gets warm enough to get some plants growing. Urine from human males around the perimeter of the garden deters deer..Urine from females has the opposite effect...at least with Texas White Tail Deer, that's how it works.

I have tried sachets of hair, Ivory Soap, and urinating on the perimeter. Nothing works, except for 00 buckshot. The problem in my area is that neighbors think it's cute to feed the deer, and the deer lose their fear of man.
Last year, I planted a pear tree. I put a cage around the tree. 90 minutes later, I found the cage tipped over, and all leaves stripped from the tree.
In my area, it's a war against the deer. They are pests.

What we use in the soybean & corn fields , one sheet 100-yds apart ,
Their not 100% but they help. Red Cheyenne pepper helps on the rabbits and mice in the garden .
