How do they know she’s just not a really bad cook? It’s really not that difficult to accidentally burn bacon.
I have a cousin who claims his mother used the smoke alarm to notify her when stuff she was cooking was done.

The ONLIEST way I see this being a ‘good’ thing is if she is going to have a ‘party’ after the house burns down.
A man and his DOG are a wonderful thing.
A man and his BACON are a more wonderfuller thing.
Nice thing about having a ‘PIG’ for a pet. You can eat the ‘pig’ when the necessity arises.
Guess of a ‘certain culture’ you can eat the dog but many would frown upon it.
Besides, Dog tastes too much like Spotted Owl, which tastes like Chicken.
