Perhaps the only bargaining chip on the table was Philadelphia? IIRC, the newly elected AG (D) in the state of Pennsylvania shut down all the investigations into the wrongdoing in that state. Yep, it was democRATs that were set to go down according to the rumors but is this a rumor?
I don’t think it is a rumor, as named sources cme out and sid it was true.
