Holy crumbs! I can't imagine how frightened I'd be if this monster made it into my home! Even my 2 cats would probably have way too much sense to even try and take it on.

The cat I had as a child would make very short work of that guy.

Well, the rodent is really big, but all those electrical cords plugged into that power strip look like a fire watiting to happen to me.

i’m not overjoyed at having to kill things, but wild, disease-carrying vermin in the house is a safety and sanitary issue. for pets and people. i bury mice and chipmunks the domestic cats from my neighbors torture and kill. that said i take proactive steps to prevent them from getting into my garage and house.

Big, bad ass waterborne rats abandon the canals in Florida in winter to enter homes.

Looks like a Norway Rat. I've killed a few of them here near Pittsburgh. Easily as large as the one in the picture.
Decades ago, before Point State Park had been developed where the Monongahela and Allegheny meet to form the Ohio, my friends and I used to hang out there and wade in the water. It was just dirt and tall grass. The place had been used as a dumping ground for the Pittsburgh restaurants.
Home to river rats, the BIGGEST rats I have ever seen, easily over 20" including tail.

If they count the tail, I’ve seen a lot of them in the skid row area of Los Angeles that were over 2 feet.

And if you hold it even closer to the camera it looks even bigger. I used to do that with fish for the kids to make em look bigger.
