I always thought it was considered bad taste to criticize those at whose home you are a guest.
It’s no wonder that the LA Slimes doesn’t do a story about these illegal aliens in Israel, since they LOVE the illegal aliens in the US, so thrashing Israel is just a bonus. They didn’t bother with a story, just some blurbs under photos.

Ahhhh, doesn’t it just make your heart bleed? The LA Slimes is unhappy with Israels immigration policies. It’s such a bummer that the Slimes can’t dictate a Sovereign States policies.
This is like reading Pravda’s reports of the Russian actions in Crimea. It’s pure propaganda meant to blacken the name of Israel. Is LA still in America?
We have tens of thousands of legal African immigrants in Israel, mainly from Ethiopia, who have not be subjected to “terror and oppression” and if they had been, they would have left. Virtually all have settled in and raising their families and we are glad to have them.
We also have illegal infiltrators, a portion of whom are criminals or potential terrorists and they have to be dealt with by the authorities. Some are admitted, some are sent back, and many are stuck here because of legal roadblocks.
They are not going to get legal status simply by showing up. There are laws on immigration. But if they were subjected to “terror and oppression” how come they keep coming and don’t remain in Egypt or go on to Syria.
A newspaper that uses incendiary language without providing facts — what, who, when, how many — is a disgrace.
