God speed to all on board! Nice liftoff too.
It is embarrassing, as an American, that we need to pay someone else to deliver our astronauts. Hopefully we will get back on track as a nation of space-faring people.

Two insults in one minute: I had to watch a commercial for Common Core before the NASA TV feed started, and then I had to watch a Russian take an American into space, because we no longer can take ourselves. It would be like the Pilgrims having to pay the Spanish Armada to take them to Plymouth Rock.

Provident timing for the Russians. Obama/Kerry are saying Russia is a second rate power which took Crimea because of weakness and now we are treated to a picture of the Russians taking one of our astronauts to the ISS and we have to pay them $71 million for the ride.
