Ok, enlighten me.
At your link, the eighth thread down (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-gop/3131841/posts), is likely what broke the camel’s back. He posted an article from “The Daily Caller” http://dailycaller.com/2014/03/10/why-rand-paul-will-win-the-2016-primaries-and-the-presidency/#ixzz2vcgMdLF6
In it the author comments on several likely candidates and promotes his favorite, Rand Paul. The author berates Ted Cruz.
2ndDivisionVet did not write the offending Cruz remarks, but did quote them. This may have something to do with his absence. Just a guess.
I would suggest that in promoting your particular favorite candidate, that you refrain from attacking other candidates. While, at this point, I support Rand Paul, I will not attack other conservative candidates. Tearing them down doesn’t build your guy up. Let’s not beat up on someone who might end up our nominee. (Mitt Romney comes to mind).
