God's Not Dead didn't have a massive marketing budget, a liberal A-list star above the title or even the same number of screens most mainstream movies receive.
The film is still on pace to snare the fourth spot in the weekend's box office chart in a very competitive frame.

My wife and I saw “God’s Not Dead”, “Bad Words” and “The Single Mom’s Club” .the last one is because my lovely wife wanted to see it. Out of the three, Bad Words was very funny. “God’s Not Dead” was just a good wholesome movie. I would recommend both films.

I met Mr. Sorbo at Wizard World in Philly in 2012. He’s the real deal. Smart, funny and very approachable. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with him.
Looking forward to seeing this movie! From many of the posts here, it sounds like a great one.
He seems to be a very nice, sincere man and quite different from Hollywood.
I does sound good, doesn’t it. :-)
I hadn’t heard of it until you posted this thread. Went to the web page. Viewed the trailer. Looks very good. I noticed David A. White is in it, I’ve seen his films on Netflix and loved them.
Unfortunately, I have plans for today, but I’m going to go see it tomorrow.
It’s been a long time since I’ve treated myself to a movie in a theatre. Usually I just use Redbox.
