I had no mail when I was out a few minutes ago. Don’t know if the mail has ran or not. We have two different drivers, one runs a scheduled time, the other tries to come every day!

Yellow pollen was all over the landscape fabric of the ground floor garden (GFG) It looks like 2 of my home-started mater plants did not make it, but, good news, the 2 in the raised container garden (RCG) are doing great. They are small, but looking good, a Boxcar Willie, and a Legend. They were very small when I put them out. I broke my seed starting routine this year and had poor results because of it.

I have a mater baby That is still not in the ground yet. I could not tell if it was a mater or a pepper. The name tag said Prudence Purple. I searched and found Pruden Purple, a potato leafed mater. Okay, now I know it’s a mater. It’s very happy, I may put it in the GFG in place of a dead one. It is supposed to be a good tasting, disease resistant, prolific mater, so I am looking forward to seeing what happens. I don’t know why I just started the one seed. I don’t know why I do a lot of things the way I do. LOL

The “by the Moon” Garden Calendar says today and tomorrow are good for underground crops, and April 1st, and 2nd are good for above ground crops.
