Yes, growing them in containers. Yes, the leaves are very large and would create significant shadow if on a trellis or attached to a stake in the middle of the container. And, they grow really, really, fast.
How long/wide is a leaf? Hmm, maybe 4 1/2” long and 3 1/2” to 4” wide. Let me see if I have that picture of that plant flower and I’ll email it to you - leaves show there I think and you can gage it by things around it.
By next year, I'll have every bit of the back yard that can be planted, planted. I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of the elm tree back there for a few more square feet of growing space.

What size pot? I have 15 gallon smart pots I was going to put T squash in..Do you think I can put more than one T squash in a 15 gallon pot?
Ditto on the cucuzza. I figure it will be easier to keep bugs, foliar diseases, water needs etc, monitored if they are away from other plants growing on cattle panels.
