puke gets to play in their home state nearly every tourney, but they didn't get the refs they get at Cameron Indoor today!
I'll say this and stick by it...if this game is played at Cameron Indoor it's not even close. Coach K will chew the refs and get his calls. I've watched too many puke games and seen it happen.
plus, puke has lived and died by the three-ball this year. couldn't get them to fall when they needed them.
for the record...glad Mercer won.

I have Michigan winning this regional, but for Duke to go out in the first round versus... Uh, Mercer. The powerhouse Mercer! The Dukies led by five with just under five to go. This is the problem when your team features mostly underclass men. Congrats to Mercer!

i watch a lot of b-ball...i've played a lot of b-ball in my younger days. i'll say it again....if this game is at cameron indoor, mercer is run out of the gym. duke doesn't lose to chump teams like mercer at home plain and simple. K would be chewing the refs and they'd get the calls.
i guess you don't like post 26 either as that poster noted the same thing about the refs.
if you actually keep up with b-ball you know puke has a reputation for getting the favorable whistle in games. didn't happen today though. a lot of people were wondering how puke would do if the calls were evened out. now we know.

There were some upsets yesterday as well. Dayton, North Dakota and Harvard (if I'm not mistaken) all beat higher seeded teams.
