I know of only 1 person. He arrived in America from South Africa about 10 years ago. He is Legal, and white (If that has anything to do with it). It has really helped him, so far. He had been diagnosed with skin cancer (pre existing).
I told him he should try and sign up last November. I don’t know if he gets subsidies (We are in Texas), more than likely he does. He is financially strapped and works only part-time, his choice, approximate age 55.

yes, if you’re dirt poor and sick O’care is great...it’s going to encourage people to under report their income to get lower premiums, leaving those that can’t under report to pay more....a LOT more, more than they can afford.
