Defense attorneys put a psychologist on the stand who testified Couch was a product of wealth and got whatever he wanted. This all started with that "alcoholism is a disease" stuff back in the mid-60s.
Thanks to ObamaCare, what is a disease, and what is the correct federally-funded treatment protocol for new federally-recognized "diseases," is going to get real interesting. All under control of unelected bureaucrats, too!

I always thought by doing this it relieved the alcoholic of the responsibility for his actions.
It is an addiction that needs to be dealt with on that basis.
