Apple products don’t support Adobe Flash video because Steve Jobs didn’t like it
"Didn't like it" as in "battery hog and security nightmare". H.264 is far more secure and power-efficient, and Jobs didn't want to Apple mobile devices to be accused of poor battery life when the problem was Flash.
