The comparison I’d use is the woman who got into the polar bear enclosure at the Berlin zoo. She was killed for her efforts.

Stated another way. If you go outside every day in Alaska and it’s a 99% chance of being safe, this means that every 100 days you will meet a large bear or wolf who will eye you like an after dinner mint.
I do remember a woman trying to commune with the polar bears at a zoo though the did survive through no fault of her own.
These numbskulls think nature is "good" and pure while, in fact, it is quite brutal. More like "Who's for dinner" rather than "Who's coming to dinner?"
