When they shoot a Black, you will hear it.
And if your neighbor doesn’t like you and phones in a tip that you may have drugs, the police can then have reason to bust down your door and shoot you. Or maybe it was intended for your other neighbor and they just got the wrong address but in any event you and/or your dog may be shot.
I would bet that it was planted. And since he lived, they could not use the throwdown gun. The drugs or what is supposed to be drugs can be used because when they do a blood test, the tester will ask the police, “What do you want us to find traces of in his blood?” He maintains that the stuff is not his, nobody believes him. good shoot, go get another one! Case closed.
No dog to shoot?
What does the other driver have to say? I don’t see anything about them...
It will definitely be interesting to hear their version of this incident and what they witnessed.
Good point. Hopefully they can tell the truth either way without fear.
Attempted capitol murder is the proper charge here on the officer.
What is worse than these thug cops is the police chiefs who defend them. The chief is therefore just as guilty.
If he/she is local, whatever the cop tells him to.

Well perhaps... It’s my experience that the Air Force does a LOT of drug testing on their people. The young man could request an AF administered one to get him off the hook.
So is the Mayor if the Sherriff isn’t an elected official.
Common sense says, him being a Service Member and familiar with their drug testing program, he would not be using anything except maybe alcohol.
And then there was the Elio Carrion/Ivory Webb shooting in Chino, CA in 2006.
The cop who shot Carrion was, of course, acquitted.

Can you imagine the carnage if normal civilians were allowed to shoot with as little repercussion as a cop? For most of us, a shooting would be judged on if a reasonable person would conclude he was, indeed, in danger of death or severe injury.
With cops, the standard seems to be, “Were voices raised? Was the cop stressed?”
There would be little or no difference. Normal civilians don't WANT to shoot people. That's the scary part.
Very good point!
Many are, it is why they wanted the badge and the gun and the "authority".
The police dept is increasingly populated with bullies who are also cowards.
Police departments do not want the general public to know how much of the department would run away if faced with opponents just as numerous and as well armed as themselves.
Look at what happened with the police during Katrina and the Rodney King riots.
