The family of a 16-year-old Corona girl is looking to the public for help in identifying a group of girls that attacked her in while walking home from school Thursday afternoon.
Faith Edwards, a student at Lee V. Pollard High School, was walking through Santana Park between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon when she was attacked from behind by a group of unknown girls.
During the assault, the girls held Faiths arms and head and began violently beating her before realizing the girl they were attacking was not their intended target. According to the victims mom, Krista Edwards, one of the girls yelled out, Thats not her, thats not her! before the beating subsided. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done.
As a result of the attack, Faith suffered a broken nose with multiple fractures, which will require corrective surgery. In addition to the fractures she suffered a concussion, scalp swelling, a gash on her face requiring stitches, a perforated ear drum and suffered significant swelling and bruising to her face and body.
Due to the nature of the attack, the victim has had a hard time identifying her attackers. She was left bloodied, beaten and unconscious at the scene of the attack and had limited visibility during the beating. At this point all that is known is that she was attacked by three or four girls and they appeared to be older than the victim. One is believed to have been a Hispanic female around 510″ and 250 lbs. but aside from that not much more is known.

This girl is family. She was attacked, mistakenly, but what does that mean.. are they still looking to attack the
other girl?
Despite finding out “who” was responsible, LE says they have to “investigate”. Not exactly hurrying over to arrest the scum-baggettes! We are all afraid this is going to be buried in LE BS and no prosecution. Please go to this site and post in support of Faith. God bless.
Does LE mean Law Enforcement? I hope many people learn about what happened to your relative. The school doesn’t seem to be taking responsibility for their students. Maybe the principal is one of those hard headed people who does not want to ‘lose’ any students to expulsion or alternate schools, which is what these gang bangers need, if we cannot deport them.
Has your local news or Board of Education been notified of the goings on at this school? It may take a parent to threaten and actually carry out a lawsuit for inadequate measures to ensure their child’s safety. That might wake them from their ignorant bliss.
How terrible for her and you. I hope she has a full recovery and that justice is done.
Do we have to guess the ethnicity of the attackers and the victim, or do we already know they were Amish or Mormon?
bttt
Police know who have been identified by several as the attackers, but told my relative they are “investigating”.
Thank you. Our family appreciates your concern and prayers.
That is my Grand Niece... girls who attacked her were white and hispanic.
We are trying to be sure that LE will pursue prosecution of those who hurt Faith. That is all. Also.. school district and LE need to step it up in protecting kids at this school.
I have been emailing all and trying to help my family.
It feels more personal now. Damn it all.
You are doing your part; spreading the awareness.
Thank you.
Thank you. Also there is another girl they meant to attack who is in danger.
I feel so sorry for your family. Hope to heaven that the perps are caught. More and more girl gangs are forming. Not a good sign for our country and shows the further deterioration of too many family structures due to drugs, divorce, bad role models, lousy movie/tv/msm influences, ineffective law enforcement with hands tied by PC influence and gov’t interference at the top rungs, along with the Obama regime’s thuglike example and loosening of good moral precepts. Other than that, ... Hope your relative recovers quickly. She deserves all the best in life from the point of her healing on.
Thank you. We are trying to keep the story posting. Small news blog reporter was answering me right away and posted this story. Now at 14,000 shares. on FB... Hoping to get other media involved and get attention. Kids should be able to walk home from school in peace .
Thank you. If my Dad were here he would say the same.
