OK, I know everyone has their own theories as to the motivations behind the missing 777. Let's put them in one place, give us your top 3.
Here's mine.
1. Tom Clancy/Executive Orders scenario. Plane will be used later as a WMD to take out something in Washington or New York. Passengers killed/ransomed.
2. Diversion by Russia/Iran so Putin could do his thing during the distraction. Will be used later as possible unstoppable destruction device to disable or take out one of our carriers in the Med. Passengers killed/ransomed.
3. Plane was designed to climate strategic Diego Garcia near Indian Ocean/Persian Gulf. It was shot down by US en route and now there's a cover up as no one wants to admit. Passengers killed.
Ok, there's my start… what's your thought?
Me thinks he came out of the closet and was outed as a homo by his wife. The wife left him and he, in shame, killed himself with the rest of the crew and passengers.

I know the copilot was a regular mosque goer but I didn’t read the pilot was.
You know, there is also the strong possibility that the pilot and co-pilot faked it through the correspondence pilot school (you know the kind advertised on late night TV - “In 6 weeks you too can be a major airline pilot!) and didn’t know what they were doing.

How do we know the plane left the airport?
Sad to say; but if passengers are alive; they are not safe...
if the plane went to 45000 feet it would have happened..which is the reason many believe it was brought to that high an altitude..but then I heard today that the cockpit at any time can turn off oxygen for the passengers no matter at what altitude the plane is, I never knew that was possible..that a pilot can just turn that off

All the money and change we implemented in Iraq was lost due to Zero’s pullout. Then Afghanistan was done so irresponsibly with people like Karzai...sad. I’ll go pretty much with #1 - plane is now parked off an abandoned military strip in Laos (why else did it make such an obvious reversal in its original course and fly around for awhile in the Indian Ocean but to draw attention away from its destination close to its original flight path - and who knows what goes on in Laos) - plane is being repainted in US military scheme and will be flown in a matter of weeks into some high profile target in China to get the US and China into a war, while the real perps, Putin agents, pick up the marbles.....

Here is the latest thread about the pilot and the opposition leader. This one says the pilot attended the trail of the opposition leader where the man was sent to prison for 5 years. Then, seven hours after that trial, the pilot took off in the plane. This one calls that trial a controversial trial but doesn’t say it was due to the man being a homosexual - the other report I read said the man was homosexual and was on trial for that since it is illegal there.
