The 777 was a what? On a what? Spy mission?

Is the missing 777 jet is equipped with phones? I’d bet it is. I’d assume cellular via satellite.

With hundreds of persons onboard, why didn’t one person make a phone call? The plane did. It “pinged” at least one satellite for hours after other systems went dark. It appears to me someone forgot to shut that one system down or it was in a location it couldn’t be immediately accessed. and turned off.

For Christ’s sake, as the World Trade Center towers were about to fall, people were calling out and sending video clips and photos via cell phone. When planes were hijacked on 9/11/2001, the people in them were calling out to family with cell phones or using the phones on the plane that went through satellites.

IF the plane went down, why no debris alone it’s scheduled flight path?

IF the plane was hijacked, by pirates why no ransom demand?

WHY would anyone steal the plane? Every part in it could be purchased and duplicated by North Korea, China, Russia, or any oil rich nation. Face it, it’s not a Skunk Works U2 spy plane… or was it? It’s been done before and the planes were shot down “straying” over things not intended to be seen.

WHY would anyone want anything that eats fuel like a 777 that can’t land at any airport in the world?

WHAT would any hijacker do with hundreds of people? Toss them out of the plane? Doubtful.

Ask yourself this. If this is as confusing as it is, what authority has the power to keep it from us?

“That’s my theory, too. And the auto pilot took over and made corrections as “it” believed were needed. That’s why it was zigzagging across the sky.”

I am a Boeing 737 pilot. Please explain to me how an autopilot “takes over” and what it “believes” and why it “zigzags.”

Could a 777 land in a hard desert like most of the Middle East and Somalia have?

Radicalized Malay Muslim co-pilot disables pilot, turns off transponders and communications, then heads west toward (?) (Pakistan, Mecca, Mumbai buildings?, Petronas Towers?). Aircraft rises and falls with fight in cockpit (like 9/11 Let’s Roll! heroes over Pennsylvania). Eventually crashes into Indian Ocean or a remote island.

FYI the post is true. The CIA and military’s room full of $500,000 ea. super computers can and DO monitor every keystroke in every chat room, read every email, and hear every phone call on earth at one time and in REAL TIME.

Naturally nobody is actually listening in or reading but word recognition software IS listning for keywords and text readers take care of the rest.

Believe it.

I'd agree. People have already figured it out that 3 separate systems were intentionally turned of sequentially. We know this because of the satellites above.

The only system that wasn't turned of was not known about by the pilots because the service was part of the aircraft maintenance program which monitored the planes scheduled services to insure compliance. The airlines wished to rely on their service schedule however there is such a thing as CYA for Boeing.

Boeing was receiving data about aircraft maintenance and service to insure their scheduled maintenance was being performed by the airline.

Thanks. It was along time ago. A lifetime ago back in the Vietnam days.

I suspect that the script called for a fake emergency performance. Now the 777 is parked on a secluded airstrip under a tree while it is loaded with a ton of c4 to make it the biggest cruse missile flying.

You are both probably right on the money. Like you, every day fewer and fewer believe it crashed.

You’re probably right. It was taken by aliens.

So, you’re a pilot. That means you and I will never meet at your place of work. I don’t get in filthy tubes.

Cell phones do not communicate with satellites.

Some probably get confused because of the "GPS" which they equate to satellites.

Then, you would have to ignore all the dead spots which wouldn't be such if phones could go direct to satellites.

Crimea?

Ukraine?

Russians?

Chinese?

Part of B. Hussein O.'s "flexibility."

Whatever it was, I sniff evil...IMHO.

Is it time to start stalking and picking off the operators of this equipment on their way to or from work, in preemptive self-defense?

Empty operating weights run from 150 to 185 tons.

Max Gross Takeoff Weights run from 270 to 387 tons.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_777

Heavy bird!

BTW, we had a C-5 visit MCAS New River, NC. I assume that it was basically empty, but our longest runway is 5,114ft. I was told the C-5 got off in a little over 3,000 ft.

The C-17 can operate from dirt runways, but of course has much better landing gear. It’s Max GTOW is 292 tons.

The C5A fully loaded to it's max takeoff weight of 420 tons (840.000 pounds) needs 7,000 feet and a crack proof 7 feet of reinforced concrete just to be safe.

It can use shorter and thinner runways if it's hauling potato chips :-)
