There HAD to be a least one passenger with a satellite phone on that aircraft? Were they all confiscated or JAMMED? This sounds like software and electronic hacking/disabling was a major part of this hijacking.

Why would there HAVE to be one. I don’t know anybody with a sat phone, they’re really expensive and only useful if you regularly find your very far into nowhere.

Why would anyone on that flight have an Iridium phone? The only people I know with those are yachtsmen, and I travel internationally a couple times a month.
