Fahrenheit 451 comes to mind.....
Think how easy it would be to ‘people free’ the areas the Agenda 21 peeps want to be ‘people free’ with drones.
I’m not scared. Robots will never be able to “outthink” humans on the battlefield. They can handle something with limited freedom of action, like chess, but chess isn’t reality.
I will say it now. The intent of the 2nd amendment would include drones.
A gun will come quite handy in teaching proper drone etiquette with respect to property and air rights.
And what of drones that have a camera and a needle attached to a small vial of deadly poison - and the drone is the size of a house fly. And there are a hundred of them within 50 feet of you. And the person controlling them has given the electronic order to have you taken out.
What then?
Me too. Drones are like illegal aliens.. Allowing one leads to millions and neither are controllable without civil unrest.
Obamagarchy!
Imagine if this thing held, instead of a camera, an explosive charge?
Thats right; technology was supposed to win in Vietnam, and it was beaten by motivated individuals with machine guns.
The Wolverines will not have a chance.
I think our global masters will be quite suprised at what the commoners will do to their drones and robots. :-)
And the barrage balloon will be reinvented, netting that is made from spectra invisible to a drones eye.
Sound and or thermal tracking that will ground launch multiples of tubes each trailing fine thread mono filament that will snare drones in flight.
Even the breeding of kamikaze peregrine falcons that are taught to attack a drone at over 100mph, actually some birds of prey in a vertical dive far exceed that speed.
There are many many ways to kill a drone without using a gun.
Compressed air cannons filled with just pea gravel, marbles or high density airsoft pellets.
One permanently ground tethered mini blimp with a helium hose so that it can be added at any time so it never has to come down, it has a 360 degree sweep with multiple cameras that track movements, and can also drop aerial mines if needed.
Its all just hype to generate fear, what the reality is is that drones will never rule mankind, and I feel like watching the 4th episode of Star Wars, something about a command vessel being blown up and all the drones stop working at once.
This won’t stay civil. Once all hell breaks loose we’ll be hunting those hunting us.
Now, we see why God put a timer on us. Yes, some rich guy can build a load of quad copters to do us all in, but to what end? He’ll still be worm food in a little while. People are extremely selfish. Mao built the world he wanted for HIMSELF. Castro built the world he wanted for HIMSELF. Let’s say you are the Omega Man. You’ve wiped out the rest of humanity. So what? You get the beaches to yourself for a few years. You’re dead in a few years and the quad copters will sit in a warehouse collecting dust. We forget that God warned us about two trees in Eden. We ignored Him and ate from the Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil. We were thrown out of a perfect world for that. If we eat of The Tree Of Life, perpetual life, what will our punishment be? We humans are selfish and cruel, but we have a timer controlled Off Switch to keep us from doing too much damage. Take away that timer, and Man becomes very dangerous.
Spot on and well stated!
As one of those engineers that can build a UAV and counter weapons too...when it is time to shoot the drones then it is time to shoot the drone operators, owners, and builders.
like the suspended cop in Connecticut willing to give his nut so he can kick in your door.....
No longer serve and protect more like spy and report
“The Wolverines will not have a chance.”
Guerillas beat us in Iraq, they’re beating us in Afghanistan, and we’ve surrounded whole sections of our cities to them. Technology is great, but it has limitations.
I'm thinking that someone will know where the drone pilots sit at their screens commanding and flying their drones, and then finding where the drone pilot (traitors) live, and visiting their families while they're at work.. or being on their street when they pull into their driveways...
You don't get to step on our necks without us fighting back.
