Not that there's anything wrong with that...
I took my daughter shooting out on BIL’s farm when she was 16. She shot my AR-15 and loved it. Almost couldn’t get her to stop.
Flash forward 14 years. She is a mother of three girls 5,7, and 9 with hubby traveling nearly every week. Both she and hubby have CCWs and have had the basic range and classroom handgun safety courses. She has a S&W 686 357 magnum with 6” bbl, he has a 1911 variant.
She and I go shooting nearly every Tuesday (ladies day) and she shoots her gun (she is better than most men on the range) and usually one of my other guns just to get the feel and handling of different types. Occasionally, hubby brings the girls along and they all sit outside at the coffee tables and watch her shoot and have a good time going around the gun store.
She’s not shy at all about large caliber guns; she recently wheedled me out of my S&W 625JM 45ACP revolver. Loves it.
