One of the world's most respected Islamic institutions has issued a fatwa against a Hollywood epic about Noah's Ark because it 'contradicts the teachings of Islam'. Russell Crowe's £75million film Noah has also been banned in three Arab countries after religious leaders complained that it depicted the Biblical figure - who is also a holy messenger in the Koran. Due to premiere later this month, the blockbuster will not show in Qatar, Bahrain or the United Arab Emirates and several other countries are expected to follow suit.

Maybe not... a respected Islamic institution could be an ‘institution’ where all the Muslim crazies are ... well, intstitutionalized.
But I guess there aren’t THAT many giggle jackets on earth!! :)
Remember that low rent individual who made a movie in California that slammed Mohammed, and Obama ordered him arrested for whatever?
It would make a fine hoax to put out that Obama had ordered that all prints (ha, digital) of the movie be seized, and that director Darren Aronofsky be arrested on some utterly bogus charge, after complaining that his movie offended Islam.
who else caught the illustration about the 2012 film that ‘might have caused’ the benghazi attacks in this article?
Wonder if they know about Heston or Jeff Chandler .... Noah and Christ two really good movies.
Moses NOT Noah (never type before coffee)
Muzzies would order a fatwa against fresh air.
I believe the Muslims have Noah’s ark landing on a different mountain than Mt. Ararat.
That is me! hahah
Time to arrest Russel Crowe.
Actually, I was wondering: how long will it be until we hear of some editing due to “concerns with movie time length” or “artistic considerations”, all of which will, oops, just so happen to make the film palatable to Muslims in the end. What a coincidink that will be.
I will watch it when it gets to Netflix. That is the extent of my fatwa.
I may consider seeing it now.
Keep watch set back 600 years teach of Islam.
Jeffrey Hunter. “king of kings” Perhaps you were thinking of Raymond Chandler?

Better yet a movie that would destroy muslims while they watch.
The Bible says the flood came because "the earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence".
I'm guessing that the Biblical version hits them where it hurts.
