When I first heard of Mills and BLP, I had a friend who is a chemical engineer look into his claims and he said there was no way that what Mills claimed was happening.
I though at first that Mills genuinely thought he had something and that he figured with enough time he could jump the technological hurdles but his actions make him seem Rossiesque.
He got a lot of his funding from energy companies. The problem was that his friend, whose exact name I forget so I won’t guess worked at an energy company and is where Mills got some of his millions. After the company saw what he had done, they fired him and where does he land but at Rowan U where Mills BLP process is supposedly peer reviewed. He also does things like renting equipment from Harvard and getting someone from Harvard to run it and then it’s twisted into Harvard verified that his BLP process worked and on and on.
That is why Rossi getting $11 million doesn’t, in my mind, prove the E-cat works. The people who gave him that money seem to be the type that expect something out of it though. You would think that they should have done a lot of due diligence but who knows when the unlimited amount of money that a working e-cat would be worth is shimmering in their mind.
I still don’t know why the big BLP event from January 28 turned out to be a non-event. I expected some kind of demo that appeared to work on the surface but nothing happened and it appears that BLP wants to forget about it.
