What are you going to do if you suffer an Achilles tendon rupture and no orthopedist or ER is available? They quit prescribing ciprofloxin to my wife at 55, even though it was still working for sinus infections, because the incidence of tendon ruptures goes up so much with age.

If you have meds that need refrigeration you also need electrical power. In a SHTF situation that may be dicey.

if you live in a rural/farming area, stores like Tractor Supply etc. sell antibiotics like penicillin. Getting needles can be a problem but vet catalogs sell them. lots of different medicines that farmers use are also fine for humans. Its amount goes by body weight that is listed with the meds.
