ITV has been ordered to treat UKIP as a major party in the run-up to the European Parliament elections in May.

ITV and Channel 5, which are regulated by Ofcom, were ordered to grant UKIP major party status in the run-up to Mays elections, guaranteeing it increased coverage.

Certainly gotta be a milestone for UKIP.Treat UKIP as a major party, Ofcom orders TV channels: Regulator says success in previous Euro elections put it on part with Labour, Tories and the Lib Dems
What is UKIP?
United Kingdom Independence Party. Nigel Farage’s political party, if you know who he is; a big and very outspoken critic of the European Union.
Be nice to get a run down of who is who.
Labor=our dems?
Torrie= rino GOP?
UKIP=Tea Party Libertarians?
No idea if those are even close-just giving an example of what I’m looking for-thanks in advance.
Labour and LibDems together equate to the USA’s Democratic Party, generally. You got it right with the Tories and UKIP.
Liberal Party = American Socialist Worker's Party
Tory Party = Democrat Party
UKIP = Blue Dog Democrats
Farage offers an alternative to business as usual politics in the UK.
And if you don’t know who Nigel Farage is, go watch some of his speeches at the European Parliament. Worthwhile. You’ll find yourself cheering and lol.
