New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez needs a new hairdresser or a new stance on gay marriage.
Martinez was recently dropped by her hair stylist, Antonio Darden, who is gay.
Darden told a local news station that he cut the governors hair three times, but wont do it again as long as she continues to oppose gay marriage.
The governors aides called not too long ago, wanting another appointment to come in, he told KOB-TV. Because of her stances and her views on this, I told her aides no. They called the next day, asking if Id changed my mind about taking the governor in and I said no.
Martinez has said she believes marriage should be between a man and woman.
Darden, a popular stylist in Santa Fe and the owner of Antonios Hair Studio, has been with his partner for 15 years.
Its just equality, dignity for everyone, he said. Everybody should be allowed the right to be together.
Gay marriage is not recognized in New Mexico.
Oh oh! Battle of the grievance groups. Get out the popcorn.
“Isnt THAT bullying? I ask because our pop culture has determined bullying to be one of the most horrific things that anyone can do.”
I guess you could call it that. Hypocrisy as well. I still say that the very best way to stop a Bully from Bullying is a solid punch in the mouth. I have never seen that fail.
You speak the truth.
Bullies go as far as people allow them.
Yes, Sir!
Just an FYI for everyone, I live in NM and this happened probably 2 years ago now. Also gay marriage is now permitted here.
Doesn’t make it any less relevant today. In fact, after Arizona governor Jan Brewer’s veto,it may be even MORE relevant!
She isn’t suing his little f***** ass, why?
HOMOSEXUAL, because there's nothing GAY about it.

This is bullying on a professional level.
Some bullies are acceptable. Two legs bad, four legs good and all that. ;-)
Oh, so it’s ok if a gay person denies service. But it’s not ok if religious people deny service because of their beliefs.
Well, how ‘bout filing a lawsuit over that. Discrimination, dontchaknow.
Sad but true. We need to stand STRONG!!
