A lot of disappointed, disgruntled kidlets this morn...we didn’t even have a delay (and our roads are AWFUL!) so bad intact that yesterday...when I was about to leave work, a woman clipped a telephone pole in the parking of the bldg I work in. Thank god she was (relatively ok). I didn’t see it...but I heard it...and I talked w/her til PD came. It sounded like an explosion. She spun out and hit the pole w/rear of her vehicle. The 1st policeman looked at the pole and said he didn’t think power co needed called...I left that to his decision. I’m not scheduled today...so I won’t know til later in week if anything happened power wise.

All the women present were family and it was crowded but laid back and fun. Sisters and sisters-in-law pitched in preparing food and everything. Lots of chatter and (as you can imagine) tales of their own birthing experiences. Interestingly enough, the 15 year old boyfriend of my niece stayed and took part in games, etc. Kind of strange, I have to admit! Most guys avoid that kind of stuff like the plague.
Mr S, hid dad, two brothers and our son all went out for chinese and raised a little cain of their own! I can ONLY imagine! LOL!
We had a great time! DIL is lovely! She’s like a daughter to us. She’s starting to get a bit nervous. Due date is April 4th. The niece who gave birth to her son when your granddaughter was born was reassuring her.
4-4-14 that’s a neat date!
I’m so glad everything went so well (and wx held off!) aren’t the little dresses and pink sleepers so CUTE!!! It’s fun just looking at the stuff:)
So...just like the old country...we gotta plan your grandnephew & my granddaughters “future” plans... ;)
