After the Son of God thread today….I went to the movie. Outstanding! Everyone should go to that movie and skip non-stop. Although I might go to Non-Stop because Michelle Dockery is in it. I will let you know the truth about the movie not some random nonsense. Son of God will most likely win this weekend. It is a little below Non-stop by a few hundred thousand but should pick up today. The movie was sold out and I had to sit in the front. My wife was not pleased but thrilled after the movie was over since it was so good. We just rented Blue Jasmine…..Good God what a bore. Ok Cate Blanchette will win the Oscar but for the life of me not sure why. She acted fine in it but the whole movie was a snore….Second worst movie of the year for me after Gravity (Terribly boring movie).

The Rock had some plot issues, but then again, it was more of the cheesy Hollywood Action film with Nicholas Cage, but then again, such was the 90s for ya!

I saw it tonight. Enjoyed it. BS PC crap of a few sentences tacked onto the plot was totally ignorable. Definitely would recommend for a Saturday night pastime.
Or Die Hard 2 where spec ops that worked in Latin America got ticked off when the movie verison of Manuel Norweiga got busted and they tried to free him.
XBMC is a great little app and it’s free.
I haven’t stepped foot in a movie theater in over 10 years and I can watch movies on my PC or run a HDMI cable to my LCD TV and watch them on XBMC

I don’t see too many movies, but Blue Jasmine was way overrated and out of touch with reality, especially the scenes that take place in San Francisco.

I agree the acting was very good and the movie sucked.
