Guys in uniform traveling for the government are are on FULL per diem and have their meals covered.
In my neck of the woods. While at work we can hear/see the Ohio Air National Guard fly over quite often. Good to see that one of their brigades just returned from Kuwait.

Heart warming storing for sure but does it strike anyone else as disconcerting that the kid was generous with “found” money? Does anyone teach their kids that “found” money belongs to the unfortunate person who lost it and that attempts should be made to return it to its rightful owner?
Try substituting a Greenpeace activist for an National Guard member and see if you think the kid should have kept the money.
The reporter just HAD to squeeze a little snark in there.
