Yes, I thought that too.

Somehow I KNEW that CA would get their grubby paws on this stash.

By the time all is said and done, I bet the "lucky" finders end up OWING CA some serious $.

There's a lesson here, kiddies.

With liberals, you will never win.

Now had this couple given a few congressmen some of the coins, it would be all good.

I didn’t use those words, but it is what I basically posted in the first thread about this. I’d buy a small place in a tax friendly state and claim I found it there, if I claimed it at all.

I think the ONLY way this goes to others would be if the police have a report about this missing from some relatives that used to live in that area. Beyond that let CA pound sand.

In any case, if these people sell 10 million they will owe the feds and state about 5.5 million of their findings.
