A McDonald's customer is suing the fast food restaurant for $1.5million because he was given only one napkin with his meal.
Webster Lucas claims he is now unable to work because of the 'undue mental anguish' and 'emotional distress' caused by the incident.
He launched the lawsuit following a row with the store manager at the outlet in Pacoima, California, on January 29.
Tempers seem to have flared after Mr Lucas complained that he had received just a single paper towel with his Quarter Pounder Deluxe.
Mr Lucas, who is African-American, says the he was racially abused by the manager when he went back to the counter to ask for more, according to TMZ.
The employee, who is named only as 'Angel' and is said to be of Mexican-American appearance, is alleged to have mumbled something that sounded like 'you people', Mr Lucas claims.

I would be interested in seeing the evidence supporting this character’s future earning potential, along with a record of government subsidies he has received in the past, and the amount of continuous employment he has had.
Our local McD’s franchise has taken to dispensing only a few napkins with each paid meal.
All the bums who pass through there had been stealing the napkins.
So she wasn't a "grifting opportunist;" however, the coffee was supposed to be hot and it wasn't McD's fault that she spilled it in her crotch.

For obvious reasons.
When one wipes his ‘nose’ is it better with a napkin or a cold, chapped hand while squatting in the woods or under an overpass?
FYI
Under an overpass is the opposite of Over an Underpass.
Simple solution: abandon inner city venues for the burbs.
So can I get a million for no cheese or tarter sauce on my Fish Fillet?
Didn’t Eric Holder refer to them as “my people”? If there are my people then there has to be “you people”.
Moreover, the attorney who took the case should be disbarred.
I watched that live on TV and Perot was genuinely taken aback by the murmurs in the crowd.
I wish he would have said something like "I referred to 'You people" - as IN THE FREAKING AUDIENCE! Why is it that I can speak to any other gathering and use that term, and 'in the audience' is inferred by them and they have no problem with that term? Even if I did mean that in the 'you black people' context, I find it odd that you are offended. Do you not segregate yourself at every opportunity? Consider all your associations: 'Black Sheriffs', 'Black Mayors', "Black Caucus', 'Black Students', ad nauseum. You now even want black-only dorms in college. Please sir, pointing to some complainer in the audience, explain that disconnect."
He might have won the election.
Just another crook looking for a big payday at McDonald’s expense.
DM typically writes hysterical (and I don't mean funny), hyperbolic, sensationalists, useless junk.
They may (like the enquirer) actually hit something newsworthy. And when that happens - and it's real news, I'll leave it alone. Kinda rare though.
And please excuse my case posting. It's ANOTHER typical TACTIC of THE daily MAIL for ATTENTION getting.
THaNkS,
P.S. I dig your profile page :-)
It took a long and determined brainwashing effort.
Only one napkin?
Maybe “Angel” is a disciple of Sheryl Crow’s “one square” approach to personal hygiene.
Yes you are right, and the world is affected too.
