It is my understanding that anyone (lib) could walk into a planned parenthood and get bc for $9 - Many years ago when I was taking bc it would depend on what the dr prescribed - of course our insurance didn’t cover it so it was just one of those things you budgeted for. But if I had not been able to afford it we would have found a cheaper method, as most thinking people are capable of doing.
Rat bastiches.
I’ve heard about those lunatics-a psychologist on one of the Fox Sunday morning shows called it an eating disorder of the weirdest kind, because it is rooted in a delusion, and said she considers it a form of anorexia-people can die from it, too.
The living doll thing is wacko, too-a lot of those who get really into it have multiple surgical enhancements-so much plastic they would melt if they got too close to a flame. I think it started in Japan, where there are a lot of very strange fetishes-like that cosplay thing...
On another subject-I saw on “Vikings” last night that Lagertha left that cheating Ragnar-he promised not to see his amante Aslaug again, after Lagertha slapped him a few times and read him the riot act, but then the other woman sailed right up to the dock, obviously pregnant-so the prick asked Lagertha to let him marry Aslaug, too who agreed, so they could be one happy polygamous family. But Lagertha wasn’t buying, packed up and left-their son went with her. Guess Ragnar has seen too many Sister Wives episodes...
No need to be bit-chy. ;-)
As I said the other day, at 100 bucks, to finance clandestine transactions at places like Silk Road, that was one thing....it should have been obvious, when the price went berzerk, that this was waiting to happen.
Crap, a good website we could all be in Belize...lol
But, I don’t want to be sent to Belize!
Wow
I’ve been to Belize once, in the mid 1980’s, and I don’t remember it being that paradise you see in the investment ads on TV-I don’t really think it has been totally transformed in 30 years, unless someone had a magic wand.
I do remember being told at the border to not leave stuff in our vehicle, keep a hard grip on wallets and credit cars, and beware of drug wars spilling onto public roads-we stayed 2 days, then drove back to the Mexico, which at least was the devil we knew. A beautiful third world country is still a third world country...
And I scheduled Buffy’s grooming for Monday afternoon, and she is spayed on Tuesday. I hope I can get her there.
Me! Send me!
Well, be careful-my husband joked that he’d felt safer driving the Culiacan Highway...
I’m going to send you some snowshoes for you and the puppy-sounds like you will need them...
It is supposed to get into the 70’s today and partly cloudy-it is 64 now-then deteriorate rapidly this evening into rain, and below freezing at night-more icy deck and walk...
We’ll get the freezing rain tomorrow night into Monday morning. I’m predicting a delayed opening at the school. I have friends who went to Belize on vacation about 4 years ago and they had a wonderful time, stayed in a nice tourist area. They did some scuba diving and ziplines and enjoyed all of it. My FIL used to listen to their radio stations on his HAM set years ago.
You obviously haven’t finished watching Breaking Bad.
There are a few fruit trees on this property-pears, I think-and they are not blooming yet-until about 7 years ago, the fruit trees bloomed in late Feb-early March, but it has been colder longer since then. The oaks have not bloomed yet either...
I’m sure it might be just fine if someone is okay with tourist areas. Neither my first husband nor I liked “tourist areas”-we both spoke Spanish, and could go to more interesting-and-cheaper places-and accommodations, so the place needed to be safe enough for us to drive there from Texas in our suburban, wander around with the natives, take the kid to some archaeological site where my cousin’s husband was doing a dig or it wasn’t worth doing.
It just occurred to me that going to Belize-or any other faraway locale-is an awful lot of money to spend for scuba diving and zip lines-wouldn’t Florida/the Keys be cheaper, just as nice and safer to wander around? I like the Florida Keys for a beach-and-shopping vaca...
I never watched that-the previews and the premise were downright depressing...
