Looking to moisture seal my unfinished basements concrete floor as a measure to cure and prevent mold in the house. Appreciate any suggestions, sources and references - about what kind of sealant to use etc.
(hold off on running the first time or two ;-)
Seriously tho, the clear coats not only protect the color coats, but also:
a) brighten the area by reflecting the ambient light, b) make spills a breeze to wipe up, c) give the whole project a 'finished' look compared to the basic floor paint job.
Just for giggles, here are a couple shots of how this floor looks after ~7 years of moderate traffic.
Sorry for the marginal lighting, as it's overcast here today, and this ancient Canon is only 5 MP.

Appreciate sharing the pictures. Looks great! Cant wait to see the end result of my project. Agree with you about making it a decent looking living space with little effort. Can already see it coming.
I bought the supplies required and am having someone do it for me. Turned out more economical than hiring someone to do it all.
The project came to an end. My basement looks almost finished. Im more than happy with the the outcome. I wish I could share the pictures , but not too good with technology - uploading, sharing etc.
Thank you both and all others for the information shared.
Glad to here it worked out for ya!
Cheers!
