I’m sixty and as of the first of this year have no medical insurance. I will not “do” medicare either. If I need treatment I will pay for it myself or go without.

The risk is not death. We all die. The risk is living through a serious illness. But then, life is risk.

Life is a gift. Leave it up to the government to ruin it.

If you are a Christian, look into a medical sharing ministry. They are exempt from o-care and you are treated like a self- pay patient. Thus, significant discounts can be negotiated with hospitals, etc. Once the medical sharing kicks in, you are re-imbursed for your costs. Our monthly share (that we send to someone having medical costs) is easily 4 or five times less than o-care and there is only a small deductible. Do some research, it’s worth the time.

Really, check it out. Very cool concept. We look at it comparatively: as homeschooling is to public school, medical sharing is to obamacare.
