William Conrad was one amazing actor. He really put a lot of thought into these shows. The entire GS production is world class except they usually have the same guy play all the bad guys/bit parts.

Apparently NYers have always been nasty and evil.

Yes, Conrad was a real talent.
I’m in the normal mood, which is usually pretty good, considering that our nation is falling to the forces of Hell that have been aggressively worming in for at least a hundred years. :-/

Did you not hear Ed's opening statement? This is the time to forget about the troubles of the world...
Another thing about GS. I love how they leave story lines open. Like how we never hear about what happens when the mob goes to the jail. It's perfect for portraying the west as wild, uncertain, and larger than the story of that show IMO.

The same crappy jazz is going out on FM. They must have had a system malfunction or power outage. It happened just as RD was going to start. I'm going to make a phone call and then listen to RD from the researchers library.

Not actually listening at the moment; the wife decided she wanted to come into my den with her dinner plate, and watch TV. Can't complain - I don't mind the company. I married her - ha! The weather down here is actually agreeable lately. Amazing how a few 65 degree days can stir your senses out of their winter funk. It's gotten me to actually start my Spring 2014 to-do list here at the new Viking Lodge. Hope everyone has dug themselves out of thew snow. We had a couple of bouts of it, as well.
