Shooter was having problems getting the brass to eject so was using the cleaning rod to push them out.
Problems with ejecting? Or problems in reusing brass one too many times? Sounds to me like repetitive case expansion.
Needed to use a cleaning rod to get the brass to eject? The guy is doing something seriously wrong. using a firearm that needs a new extractor & if the guy is rolling his own ammo his needs to reread the manual cause he stuff is loaded way to hot & its distorting the brass like you wouldn’t believe.
