The Civil War in the Republican Party between the GOPe and Tea Party is REAL. That has to be resolved before we can face the enemy. The sooner the GOPe RINOs shed their phony Conservative skin and become Democrats the better. Then we can get down to the real war.

They fought the war against American unions, and in large part have won. Except now, all America’s former factories are overseas, and now China exports more than America does.
China is a massive closed society. Americans cannot move there. Americans cannot buy things of significance there. Yet our stores are FILLED WITH CHINESE-MANUFACTURED GOODS.
Bring back American factories, and American jobs.

Everybody has their own theory as to what everyone else should have done.
So what’s the problem? The problem is conservatives are splintered. We quarrel among ourselves over differences in race, religion and other factors. …No we do not. Why is Mrs. L applying liberal stereotypes to conservatives, especially when pointing out what the GOP-e is in the same article? Never mind worrying about what the media does, since they did that with Reagan and he won.
The author loses all credibility with this statement.
Part of the problem is that conservatives are usually hard workers, taking care of their families first with no time for organization. Secondly, they are not generally joiners - being quite individualist. Thirdly, if they join a movement, the get targeted by the IRS.
Agree with one poster who essentially says, first ... we MUST get rid of the GOP-E. Before that, nothing else really matters because without winning that battle, there just isn’t another battle.
Another one ignores the obvious.
Money spent on investment and savings- media makes nothing.
Money spent on consumer spending- media makes 5 to 10%.
...and no one can figure why conservatives don’t win in the ‘public square’ controlled by TV...
Obama borrowed trillions and turned it into consumer spending. Of course the media loves politicy like that.

We have the internet news distribution.
They have an echo chamber.
The problem is that many including some of us get their news from the MSM echo chamber. And sometimes as we look to see what the other side is thinking we make the mistake that it’s news only if it comes from their side. Not true, the MSM is losing viewers and readers year over year. My sister who ia a reporter for the WSJ says WSJ is doing ‘OK’ compared to others but they are worried that so many readers and viewers are escaping them. Her husband who is a reporter for the Boston Globe and who was a White House Press reporter is starting a beer brewery with his brother; smart guy, one of the few, for a liberal northeast MSM reporter.
We are in trouble because parasites and their enablers are voting in large enough numbers to win state and national elections. For these groups creating jobs and opportunity is easily trumped by any promise of “free stuff.”
