No, the point is that none of this would have happened if she'd been situationally aware. She didn't pay attention to the red light. She didn't notice cops were running a trap. She didn't hear the cop when he yelled at her, and she wasn't paying attention to notice someone was running at her until her arm was grabbed. The name for someone that out of touch with reality is 'victim' whether it is of a mugger, a rapist, or a cop. And it is my hope that she will pay attention to her surroundings in the future so that nothing worse happens to her.

As I said: it’s that the response by police was undoubtedly callous, inhumane, and showing a lack of both human empathy/compassion and understanding.
