That’s why it’s important to look at context and multiple frames if possible. And I’ve posted multiple frames.

There is something cylindrical there in 3 different images, and it appears to have some kind of tube or handle at the top and 2 smaller tubes that can be seen at the bottom. Does that look like anything you’ve seen?

There also seems to be something white with defined angles, like I’ve seen with pvc pipes. Doesn’t look like a sock to me, but then maybe my socks are just too bland. lol

I'm sorry, based on my experience as a frogman with both O/C and C/C scuba, I would rule out the theory of a frogman meeting the ditched plane to kill Fuddy.

If Fuddy was killed, the killer was on the plane.
