- ‘Vettes slway do well at LeMans where the rubber meets the road - but less goop and downplay the lights and emblems - a bit more class like the Ferrari 458

Even the McLaren F1’s tend to get carried away in designs - but they drive over crappy roads at full chat and are driveable for adults

The ultra low-slung versions of any allege supercar get very old quickly after the first few minutes.

- in truth the vintage DB5and the E-Type are both slower than a current Honda 4-door sedan and the gearbox on both is garbage - the classic 300SL was and still is an oversteering dangerous underpowered coffin.

- A recent Shelby GT500 Mustang will top 205mph and though the interior is plastic on steroids you can get there in time to enjoy the bucks you saved on anything your little heart ol’ desires - everything has a price - extreme handling on curves is best left to those with a McLaren F1 Coupe with its space-tek suspension -

- The Corvette’s magnetic system is nothing to sneeze the Ferrari’s know well -

- Check out the available 0-60 update of your vintage Morgan Plus 8 with a dinky little Corvette engine plus suspension mods into an Morgan +8+ as you blow the Aston Martins and Lambos into the weeds while you enjoy the old cold-kidney effect of TR3s, Morgans, and early XK120 Jags

Pretty close in styling. Ferrari a little more horsepower that could easily be matched & even surpassed for 20,000 or perhaps even less.

Now granted the Ferrari will continue to increase in value whereas the vette won't, but only if you hardly ever drive it. What fun is that? I'll still take the vette., and have fun.
