he suffers from narcolepsy,... (ref. to Kimmel)
**************************
A fellow Manager used to fall asleep from that during our staff meetings with the VP and often in his office. He had a simple surgical procedure and it did away with the narcolepsy.

Back to topic...

I watched Fallon the first 3 nights, to see what the media was raving about. ...No rave from me, as it seems the material is aimed at the under-35 crowd who knows who some of his guests are; while most people across America have never heard of them.

Will Smith, Lady Gaga (great voice and mean piano player) and Tim McGraw were good. Seinfeld sucked (proud to say I never watched even one episode of his TV series!).

Fallon’s monologue is very lame, compared to Leno’s. The audience must be surround by signs telling them when to applause and yell and scream, as it’s not done when appropriate. The third show, I kept going to the Golf Channel to watch the PGA match play tournament, as Fallon’s show was so boring and obviously targeted at only the liberal Northeast and West Coast.

i have never been a fan of Jay Leno... i do not dislike him, i just never cared for his humor... i am more of a Conan O'Brien fan... i do like Jimmy Fallon, and have ever since his time on SNL... i think he is talented... i like his impersonations... i especially like when he played Mick Jagger's reflection in a mirror... and he has a decent singing voice--i like his musical parodies... i enjoy when he partners with Justin Timberlake...

i was not a regular Seinfeld viewer... i saw it from time to time, mainly repeats... the ones i have seen i have found to be funny... however, outside of the television show, i have not found Jerry Seinfeld to be funny... i guess he is... but i think the show's success had to do with the chemistry of the entire cast... my two favorite characters from the show were secondary characters: Elaine's on-again and off-again boyfriend, "Puddy," played by Patrick Warburton and Elaine's boss, "Mr. Peterman," played by John O'Hurley...

i have not watched The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon yet, but i will watch Friday's episode--only because Justin Timberlake will be a guest... i really do not have time to watch it on a regular basis... i usually tune in if and when there is a certain guest i want to see...

anyway, time will tell if Jimmy Fallon fits the bill... of course there will never be another Johnny, Ed and Doc... :)
